There are so many fabulous travel quotes:
“Adventure is worthwhile.”
“Oh the places you’ll go.”
~ Dr. Seuss
“Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.”
“A mind that is stretched by new experiences can never go back”
~ Oliver Wendell Holmes
The list of quotes like this goes on and on. The bottom line is, if you love to travel, you should. I believe it’s more about the quality of your time away not the distance, length of time you travel or how luxurious the accommodations. Travel is about what’s right for you and whoever you’re are traveling with.
I love to travel! Near or far, overnight or for a few weeks and as long as it’s clean and safe – I can make just about any accommodations comfortable. I love short trips (even day trips!) to the many place just hours from my home. For those of us who live in Western Massachusetts that includes a great list with Boston, New York City, Toronto and Montreal just to name a few. As for the rest of the United States, my goal is to see all fifty and I’ve been to just over half already.
Pink Dots are where I’ve been in the US.
I’ve been to Hawaii but need to see Alaska!
One of the greatest keepsakes that my mother left my sister and I when she passed away in 2016 was a collection of ‘paperwork’ from many of the places that she visited starting in her late teens with friends, then with my father (she got married when she was 25) then with our family starting in her 30’s.
This is a wonderful keepsake but I would have loved it even more if there was additional information other than what she jotted down for notes on souvenir items like ticket stubs, maps and on pictures along with a few hand written notes. With that said, I decided to create a planner & journal to use when I travel. That worked so well that I decided to create the Memory Maker Travel Planner & Journal for others to use when they travel!
Amazon August 2017
This is a detailed workbook designed for the individual doing the entries keeping in mind that this will help your family to reminisce in the future. When getting ready for your trip, there’s the planner section and once you’re on the trip there’s the journal section to jot down experiences and note the things you explore. My wish is that these Memory Maker Travel Planners & Journals help you and your family remember vivid details of your adventures.
Wishing you the best with your travels!
